![]() ![]() The hardware is very good in my opinion, if your budget allows it. MacBooks have a very good build quality, and the new M1 is very power efficient with the high performance it gets. There are reason for people to buy M1 but then run Linux on it. If they go back to "normal kernel", which I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about because they probably just had a different build not a new kernel, it won't change anything because people are trying to get Linux kernel running on it.Ħ. Do you know what's a kernel? Linux is a kernel, it's the engine of an OS. Do you even know what root is? You don't need root to install a new OS.ĥ. ![]() Unlike iOS, Mac need reverse engineering the drivers not hacking or exploiting firmware like iOS.Ĥ. I tried it out myself with Arch, and it totally works. There is Asahi Linux that's work in progress. This command will list MAC address, IP address, MTU size and other information about a network interface. The number next to ether is the MAC address. All we need is to open the terminal then type ifconfig -a in the prompt. It is possible to run other OSes, they just lack drivers. The best Linux command to find MAC address is using ifconfig command. I think you're misunderstanding something here. I hate to say it, but this grammar is seriously painful to look at. ![]() Let's answer questions and not criticize, and don't s**tpost anything if you don't know what you're talking about ![]()
